SOCIAL MEDIA/CONTENT MANAGER

POSITION: Social Media/Content Manager

LOCATION: Philadelphia Area

DESCRIPTION: 

East Coast Creative, a Philly-based digital media + production company, is seeking an enthusiastic and resourceful social media/content coordinator to bring our array of home improvement and DIY content to life online!

The ideal candidate is a passionate, tech-savvy marketing pro with strong writing skills, a solid understanding of social strategy and proven affiliate marketing experience. This role is multidimensional and will be assisting across all marketing verticals including Pinterest, Instagram, Email, and Blog.  

This is a fantastic opportunity for a smart, hardworking, problem solver to get in the door at a exciting, growing company.

Candidate must be local to Philadelphia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Grow the viewership for East Coast Creative’s video and blog content by optimizing social media and driving traffic to our various channels

  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop a comprehensive social media strategy for our content, including video, photo, and written pieces

  • Schedule/post content across East Coast Creative’s social channels and assist in shaping the voice of the brand

  • Analyze online metrics to improve digital strategy and direction

  • Coordinate with our video and production teams to create compelling social assets (including revamping high performing past content) that will catch viewer’s attention

  • Participate in concepting and creating compelling social content in the home improvement/DIY space

  • Manage and grow affiliate programs

  • Oversee general upkeep of the blog as well as community engagement

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-3 years experience working in a fast-paced environment

  • Well-versed in SEO and social media platforms, including analytics

  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Canva etc. in order to create social content

  • Strong personal interest or professional background in home improvement or DIY

  • A master multi-tasker with strong organization skills and attention to detail

  • A self sufficient, quick learner who is excited for the opportunity to work for a rapidly growing media company!
